It occurred to me that mobile pages are only normal pages that look good narrow and don’t have defined widths. Thus, I created a mobile version of xkcd.com.
Awhile ago, I bought a book on Linux programming, because I wanted to start contributing to the awesome OS that is Linux. I got through a few chapters before I ran out of motivation. When learning something, I need actual projects to reinforce what I’m learning.
This week, I picked up a copy of Linux Format and it got me thinking. There are programs like Ekiga 3 and Nemo that I want to use, but there are no ebuilds for them. Maybe I can create the ebuilds.
And so I created an ebuild for Tofu. I’m not sure about it, as in I’ve never done this before, so I’m sure I missed some things or just did things wrong. Nonetheless, I’m really excited creating my first ebuild and (hopefully) seeing it stabilized and in the portage tree soon.
This vacation, I get to re-learn data structures and C++. It should be really fun; but at least it’s for a good cause. I’m taking a class on computer graphics or, more specifically, OpenGL. I’ll also be learning C in another class.
One thing I wish I could take a class on is GTK+.
He wants the government to take Joe’s money and give it to someone else. His hard−earned dollars. We’re not going to stand for that,
said the Sheriff of Nottingham.
The sheriff added: America didn’t become the greatest country on Earth by spreading the wealth.
God forbid we help out the backbone of our country.
I predict that the teams occupying the top eight spots in the NHL’s Eastern Conference one week into the season will be the eight teams that make the playoffs.
You can check the standings here, but since they might change soon, here are the top eight teams, one week in.
I’d go as far as to say that the teams will finish in this order, but I’m not sure Washington can stay ahead of Carolina. Also, I think Pittsburgh will win their division and I’d like to think the Sabres will win theirs.
